Grow with us! We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Corporate Legal & Governance Team.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, analyzing and advising in non-fund-related legal questions (AIFM/ UCITS directive including respective EU regulations, ESMA-recommendations, implementation of laws other applicable legal provision as well as statements of competent authorities)
  • Legal review and negotiation of documentation, drafting of legal documents such as agreements and board resolutions on corporate level
  • Active design and documentation of Universal-Investment-Luxembourg’s governance structure within the framework of a strategic group roadmap (including organizational handbook and committees)
  • Point of contact for Universal-Investment-Luxembourg’s management and supervisory board as well as for colleagues within its German subsidiary as regulated entity
  • Liaising with CSSF regarding corporate legal matters, in particular conducting approval procedures, point of contact for CSSF-ManCo department

Your skills and experience:

  • Ideally a successfully completed law degree (1st and 2nd state examinations) or a degree in business law, business administration or economics
  • Ideally three to five years’ professional experience in the Luxembourg investment fund industry and/ or credit institution or consulting firm
  • Practical experience in a comparable position
  • Strong capacity for teamwork, motivation, reliability, resilience and service-oriented approach
  • Organizational talent, personal initiative and ability to develop solutions independently
  • Very good PC skills (MS Office)
  • Fluency in German and English.
