Greenfield is looking for a Legal Officer who will be able to work in autonomy on various aspects, including alternative investment funds regulations and corporate law.

Greenfield is pleased to be working with a property and asset management company of an investment Fund, on the expansion of their Legal team. With a focus on the Luxembourg market, they buy and develop real estate projects (diversified range of use) They are fully independent and fully owned by the founder. They are looking for someone who will be able to work in autonomy on various aspects, including alternative investment funds regulations and corporate law.

The legal officer will work closely with the director / head of Legal on the following responsibilities:

• Prepare legal and corporate documents;

• Support legal and general advisory needs associated with the portfolio;

• Draft and negotiate real estate transactions;

• Draft routine leases and amendments;

• Liaise on a regular basis with all external advisors e.g. notaries, lawyers, banks and auditors;

• Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed;

• Manage regulatory and compliance related services;

• Assisting the company in purchases and sales of properties;

• Preparing and maintaining litigation files and assist the head of legal in each case;

• Attending, draft and review of Board of Directors minutes;

• Work closely with the finance and accounting team in order to properly document financial transactions;

• Maintenance of various records;

• Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise board members accordingly.

In order to fulfill the role, the candidate will have to demonstrate or have the following:

• University Degree, min. Bac+5 in law;

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role;

• Excellent handling of MS Office applications;

• Fluent written and spoken English and French;

• Detailed knowledge of Luxembourg corporate law and of Alternative Investment Funds regulations;

• Experience with real estate transactions is an asset;

• Business minded;

• Strong interest in working on projects.
