Reporting to the Corporate Governance team (included in Aperam Legal & Governance Team), the Corporate Officer  will support the Governance & Legal counsels in  a variety of legal and governance related missions  for the Company. The Corporate Officer Paralegal will be responsible for assisting with managing the daily functions of the Team department, coordinating various Board and Committee meetings and related follow-up documentation, completing filings with the authorities and managing our relations with local stakeholders (such as notary, law firms, embassies & consultants etc)

Your main responsibilities

The Corporate Officer Paralegal will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Supporting the Legal & Governance legal counsels in the day-to-day tasks related to corporate matters involving Aperam S.A. and its subsidiaries in Luxembourg e.g. care of correspondence, collection of data, legalization of documents, collection of signatures (mainly e-signatures) .
  • Monitoring the update campaign of Aperam Corporate Legal DataBase and liaising with our Legal service provider in charge of the annual shareholders meetings for the group 
  • Organization of the requested legalization (notary, apostille by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consular legalization) 
  • Support in the various aspects of the Aperam S.A. annual meeting of shareholders, including liaising with IT services 
  • Maintain corporate records including administering and organizing the Legal corporate files of Aperam luxembourgish entities 
  • Assist with the preparation of new annual disclosure documents (CSRD, and others corporate disclosures).  
  • Assist in the filing of corporate disclosure, material change documents and other statutory or regulatory filings  
  • Coordinating and overseeing the Legal & Governance Company intranet.  
  • Coordinating the organization of some of the Legal & Governance events such as the annual “Legal Weeks”


Your profile       

Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience with public/listed companies and/or governance related experience preferred.  

  • Practical experience managing corporate documentation and securities filings (SEDAR, SEDI, TSX SecureFile).  
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English and French  (Luxembourgish  knowledge will be considered as a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills, with an exceptional attention to detail;  
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver creative solutions; and  Exceptional interpersonal skills.
