Main duties:

1/ Legal side:

  • Support the legal department with its daily activities
  • Draft/review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on transportation agreements, IT agreements, services agreements, maintenance agreements and marketing agreements
  • Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of legal topics (e.g. transport law, commercial law, consumer law, IT/IP law, labour law)
  • Draft/review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on transportation agreements, IT agreements, services agreements, maintenance agreements and marketing agreements
  • Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of legal topics (e.g. transport law, commercial law, consumer law, IT/IP law, Insurance law, labour law and insurance law)
    •   Manage the relationships with law firms
    •   Monitor, manage and draft template agreements, group policies and corporate documents

2/ Compliance side:

  • Set up a compliance organization covering mainly, Anti-Corruption, Conflict of Interest, Embargo and partially Competition Law.
  • Implement policies and procedures to mitigate exposure and enhance compliance activities
  • Monitor compliance and evaluate the effectiveness of the existing controls, policies and procedures
  • Give advice, support and trainings on compliance matters and policies
  • Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders (such as Internal Audit, Risk Manager and Legal department) to mitigate compliance risks

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Master degree in law mandatory
  • Knowledge in European compliance laws
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial contract law, gained as a lawyer or as in-house legal counsel or compliance officer
  • Willing to be trained on compliance issues and acquire a certification such as CCEP-I
  • Able to communicate at any level of the company and to explain complex legal issues in a comprehensible language
  • Dynamic team player and have the capacity to work autonomously
  • Ability to identify issues and provide pragmatic risk mitigation solution
  • Fluency in English and French.

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

  • Experience in topics related to Conflict of Interest, Anti-Corruption and Competition Law, Embargo would be an asset.

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish, German or any other language is considered as asset.
