The key requirements for the role are that individuals have an appropriate level of seniority and experience in the jurisdiction. That individuals are considered to have exceptional legal expertise, to be of value to the firm and also excel in providing legal and non-legal contributions to ensure the continued development of the firm and the services it delivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a discreet practice area, developing it in line with annual budget expectations.
  • Manage all matter financial activities in line with group protocols including time recording, billing, WIP and debt.
  • Supports and contributes to excellent client service
  • Mentor, coach and develop junior lawyers in order to enhance their technical knowledge and to be considered as the "go to" person.
  • Actively generate business for your practice area, your team and the wider group through existing and new client contacts.
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in legislation, providing timely updates and / or technical expertise to help shape the developments internally and externally including appropriate Knowledge Management for your specialised area, in conjunction with the PSL for that area.
