As Senior Legal Counsel you will support VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA in the business fields of Private Banking, External Asset Management and Depositary Banking.

Your Challenge

  • You will support the bank in all legal matters relating to clients, contractual partners and authorities, including regulatory- and governance-related themes, in close collaboration with both local colleagues and colleagues from our Head Office
  • Your responsibilities will include handling day-to-day inquiries, drafting legal opinions, preparing and negotiating contracts, supporting in the maintenance of client documentation and GTCs, as well as providing legal support for the launch of new products and participate in the implementation of regulatory initiatives
  • In addition, you will coordinate the cooperation with external law firms.

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in law, are fully qualified as a lawyer, and have at least five years of relevant professional experience in the Luxembourg financial center, preferably in banking or fund law
  • You have an analytical and structured way of thinking and can familiarize yourself with new legal issues and topics independently, thoroughly, and quickly
  • You provide very good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You can classify complex issues from a legal perspective, identify problems, and communicate them in a way that is understandable to non-lawyers
  • You are a solution-oriented personality with a hands-on approach
  • You cherish a working environment in which you can make a difference and collaborate across international locations
  • You have excellent communication skills with both internal and external contacts. You are fluent in English and German, French is considered as an asset.
