Dentons Luxembourg invests in its talent and strengthens its banking, finance and corporate law practices

Luxembourg, Monday 1st June 2026 – Dentons Luxembourg announces the promotion of Olivier  Lesage to Partner and David Paiva to Managing Counsel, marking a new milestone in the international  law firm’s development in the Luxembourg market. These promotions strengthen the office’s ability to  support its clients in complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

With fifteen years’ experience at Dentons, Olivier Lesage has been promoted to Partner in the  Banking and Finance department. The department now has two Partners, with Olivier joining  Stéphane Hadet, who has led the department for over twenty-five years. He advises corporate  groups, financial institutions and investment funds on a wide range of transactions in Luxembourg and  internationally, particularly in relation to restructurings, refinancing and leveraged finance. Olivier has  extensive experience in banking and finance, including fund, real estate and asset financing, pre- and  post-acquisition restructurings and reorganizations, as well as Luxembourg and European regulatory  matters relating to the financial market.

Stéphane Hadet comments: “Olivier has been a driving force behind the development of our Banking  and Finance department for over fifteen years. This promotion recognizes not only the work he has  done for our clients, but also his active role in training and developing the Luxembourg team.”

In the Corporate and M&A department, David Paiva has been promoted to Managing Counsel, a role  in which he supports the lead partner, Namik Ramić, with whom he has worked for over ten years.  David specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and  related structuring and financing. He regularly advises international groups and private equity funds  on their acquisitions and other structured transactions, as well as on the implementation of incentive  schemes for management teams. He also advises on the structuring of vehicles and provides governance advice to family offices and high-net-worth private clients. Both lawyers are recognized for their strategic advice to major Luxembourg and international groups.

Martine Gerber-Lemaire, Managing Partner of Dentons Luxembourg, said: “These promotions mark  a new stage in Dentons’ development in the Luxembourg market. They come at a time of strong  activity in real estate financing, fund financing, cross-border structuring and M&A transactions.
