Role summary

The Legal team plays a central role in supporting the day‑to‑day activities of Altum Management Company (Luxembourg) S.A. (“AMC”), with a particular focus on legal, regulatory and fund‑related matters. Its main responsibilities include:

  • Fund structuring activities,
  • Drafting and reviewing of agreements and contractual arrangements,
  • Fund notifications and registrations,
  • Ongoing regulatory and legal monitoring,
  • Coordination of domiciliation and corporate secretarial tasks,
  • Coordination of the production of the PRIIPs, UCITS KID and other regulatory reporting;
  • Provision of general legal support to the Altum Luxembourg teams.

Within this framework, the Junior Legal Officer will provide hands‑on support to the Legal Department, notably in:

  • Drafting and reviewing of agreements and contractual documentation,
  • Preparing standard circular resolutions,
  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Legal team.

The Junior Legal Officer will also contribute with fund structuring initiatives, participate in regulatory and legal monitoring activities, and assist in the coordination of domiciliation and corporate secretarial activities.

​Additionally, the role also includes producing relevant legal analyses and research on topics impacting the Management Company and its operations, thereby contributing to informed decision‑making and the continuous enhancement of legal and regulatory practices within the organisation.

​Role responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Junior Legal Officer is the to support the Legal team in the following tasks:

  • Funds structuring i.e. directly or by liaising with external legal advisers;
  • Drafting of agreements and contractual arrangements;
  • Administrative support to the Legal Department;
  • Coordinating the Funds’ notification and registration usually performed by external providers;
  • Coordinating of domiciliation and corporate secretary tasks;
  • General legal support to the Altum teams;
  • PRIIPs, KIIDS production coordination and review.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Law graduate (or equivalent), with a strong willingness to develop expertise in the financial sector;
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Efile and eDesk is an asset;
  • Strong written and spoken command of English; knowledge of French, German or Italian is an advantage;
  • Willingness to learn, with a positive and proactive mindset;
  • Team-player with excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritise effectively with solid problem-solving abilities,
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills
