Role description

Are you looking for a 6-month internship in Corporate Law, starting as soon as possible? 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Legal Services Corporate & Finance team in a fast-paced organization within a dynamic industry. The team provides legal support on corporate, company secretary, corporate governance, HR, and compliance matters, as well as on procurement and external financings.

Based in Betzdorf (Luxembourg), you will be responsible for the below tasks (non-exhaustive list):

  • Ensuring compliance with corporate legal requirements for all Betzdorf-managed entities;
  • Liaising with relevant contacts based in other SES locations for the organization and management of affiliates managed out of these locations
  • Contact person for corporate and administrative documents and information requested (externally as well as internally);
  • Researching and drafting memoranda on corporate law matters;
  • Assisting the Legal Services, Corporate and Finance team in the framework of tax and corporate reorganizations (including mergers and liquidations).

Your profile

1. You must have 

  • Being a current student in Law;
  • Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
  • Computer literate (Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • EU-nationality or current valid work permit for Luxembourg.

 

2. It would be nice if you had

  • Strong interest in the media/telecommunications business;
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software;
  • Additional languages – particularly French;
  • First experience with corporate law.
