Function

As a Medior Social Affairs advisor , you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You defend the interests of the Comeos members with policymakers, administrations and cabinets.
  • You advise the Comeos members on social law and support them in their social relationships.
  • You inform the members about evolutions within these domains and provide them with personal and practical advice.
  • You will participate in the implementation of the annual action plan, including:
  • information and services to members,
  • organisation and substantive preparation of webinars and information sessions,
  • contributions to the website and thematic dossiers.
  • Within the team, you will further develop your knowledge of the trading industry and the specific challenges faced by its members.
  • You maintain numerous external contacts, including with HR staff and other actors in the sector.

Profile

Is your expertise in employment law, social relations and social policy, with 7 to 10 years relevant experience?

  • You have a master's degree in law, possibly supplemented by a master's degree in social law.
  • You have experience with policy files, social consultation and/or advocacy, for example within a federation, consultancy, social partners, government or related environment.
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and French.
  • You are analytically strong, have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
