Company description

HQLAᵡ is an innovative financial technology firm that leverages distributed ledger technology (DLT) to bring game-changing efficiencies to the securities finance and repo industry.

Our core clients are banks and asset managers active in the global securities finance and repo markets, and our unique platform enables market participants to execute frictionless, precise and real-time transfer of ownership of securities. This provides our clients with capital cost savings by reducing credit risk, intra-day liquidity requirements and operational risk.

You will also advise on other legal matters for a fast-growing fintech start-up in such areas as risk management, product development, technology procurement and fintech regulation. This is a unique opportunity to play a mission-critical role at the leading edge of finance, technology and the law.

Experience in securities finance, repo and DLT is a plus – a willingness to learn and the ability to cut through complexity to deliver pragmatic legal solutions and strategic business advice are essential. In return, we offer attractive compensation and benefits, including the opportunity to participate in the company’s growth, as well as an excellent team atmosphere, flexible work-from-home arrangements and a commitment to work and home life balance.
