This is a great job for someone who has experience of the Fund Industry with an asset manager or law firm in Luxembourg, or with a PSF or private equity group.
The Legal Counsel is responsible to undertake the following activities in relation to Investment Funds (mainly AIFs) or vehicles allocated to them. You will provide Legal Support and advice in relation to the funds, ensuring appropriate support to product development and management and provide solution driven legal input and advice. The successful candidate will monitor applicable regulatory changes and provide effective proposals to address such changes and act as primary liaison with internal and external legal counsels, regulators, service providers and other internal groups on legal related issues. You will be responsible for drafting legal documentation (including prospectus, articles of incorporation and related documents, supplier agreements for the Funds). Alongside this you will work closely with finance managers, fund accounting oversight team, product development, legal, compliance, risk, middle-office, marketing, project, operations, portfolio management teams, asset managers and analysts.
