Task responsibilities

Support the Data Protection Unit with developing operational aspects of the data protection program, such as the register of processing activities, DPIA and DSAR processes.
Assessing the company’s operations and processes to determine data protection risks, providing of legal advice, providing support in the scope of projects with data protection implications.
Suggest improvements and recommendations with regards to data protection matters.

Accessory tasks:

Assist in planning, organising compliance training and communications initiatives, updating and maintaining records, and compiling reports.
Develop and review training material.
Assist in delivering training sessions to employees and agents.
Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
Support the Compliance Department in the activities required to ensure the implementation of an effective compliance program.

Essential requirements for the position

Masters Degree in Law
First experience related to data protection is considered as an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Fluency in written and spoken English; any other language is an advantage
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to transform complex topics into clear and engaging materials
Creative mindset
Team player, flexible and willing to work on a variety of topics
Basic understanding of compliance key regulatory and legal requirements is an advantage
Proving experience in delivering training and/or giving presentations is an advantage

Working conditions

Permanent, full-time position, based in Luxembourg
Occasional travel may be required within the Cargolux network
A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciare, Polizieiliches Fuhrungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
The internal job title for this position will be Officer Compliance.
