Paralegal

Your role will entail but will not be limited to:

• Daily record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents.
• Preparing and formatting legal documents, management reports, training material and other documents to be signed by management
• Maintaining and updating databases, legal related registries and dashboards, and corporate documents
• Initiating and following up purchase orders
• Managing the legal team’s mailbox
• Organizing the trainings given by the legal department
• Organizing and maintaining minutes of committees and other material meetings
• Managing various project for the department
• Monitoring the department activities in order to ensure timely delivery of the departments tasks
• Assisting when needed in DPO & Compliance matters
• Reviewing amendments, NDAs and other standard contractual documents;
• Assisting in the review processes of contracts
• Conducting legal research
• Contributing to the department knowledge management

• Law degree or equivalent
• Past experience as a paralegal (or in a similar position) in a law firm or an international company
• Ability to grasp and interpret legal documents
• Analytical thinker with exceptional organization skills
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• Proactive and can-do attitude
• Excel proficiency
• Access know-how would be a plus
• Fluent (written and spoken) in English or French is essential, fluent in both an asset
