  • Regulatory compliance – Advise on relevant financial regulatory requirements, including PSD2, AML/KYC, e-money regulations, and CCD2, ensuring adherence.
  • Stakeholder management – Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing pragmatic legal guidance and fostering a culture of legal awareness across the organization.

Who we're looking for

We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in!

Does this sound like you?

  • Relevant education – Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE, and ideally 8–10 years of professional legal experience.
  • Relevant technical and regulatory knowledge – Deep knowledge of financial and consumer credit regulations (PSD2, AML/KYC, EMRs, CCD2) and a demonstrable track record in Fintech and Payments, ideally with experience in both private practice and in-house settings.
  • Analytical mindset – Ability to dive deep into complex legal issues, exercise strong judgment, and make sound risk-based decisions.
  • Technical and commercial awareness – Clear understanding of basic technology and engineering processes in Fintech, Payments, and consumer lending, with prior experience working with technical teams being a significant plus; ability to balance legal risks with commercial considerations.
