The team led by Fabio Trevisan, Partner at Bonn Steichen & Partners, and composed of Virginie Apard, Counsel, and Elodie Vincent, Senior Associate, has assisted Zedra, global company with 14 offices worldwide acting in trust, corporate and fund services, in the acquisition of Interconsult, Luxembourg International Consulting S.A, Luxembourg company founded in Luxembourg in 1992 and as such one of the first players in the market acting in company, administrative and fiduciary services.
The deal, announced last year, has recently obtained the final approval from the Luxembourgish regulator (CSSF - Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier).
Luxembourg is key in Zedra’s growth plan and this acquisition will strengthen the global reach for existing and new clients. Interconsult’s Managing Director, Federigo Cannizzaro di Belmontino will remain in his current position after the acquisition and he will continue to be supported by the local staff members as well as his co-directors Jean Marc Debaty (Finance Director) and Frank Walenta (Commercial Director).
BSP assisted Zedra in the drafting and negotiation of the acquisition agreement, the preliminary due diligence, and in the management of the relationship with the CSSF in order to obtain the approval for the change of shareholders
