Manfred Müller - Partner, Corporate/M&A
Manfred has significant experience in company law, mergers and acquisitions, upstream and downstream private equity and real estate structurings, joint ventures, group restructurings, as well as in share and asset deals. Manfred also has experience in ship finance, in insurance law and in the corporate aspects relating to investment funds. Manfred joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2002.
Silke Bernard - Counsel, Investment Management
Silke advises and works extensively with the asset management teams of major fund houses. She has proven experience in retail funds as well as in all types of alternative funds among which private equity and fund of real estate funds structurings, hedge funds and tailor-made investment vehicles for dedicated investors with specific needs. Silke is further leading industry efforts on European pension funds initiatives and on the implementation (to come) in Luxembourg of the European Regulation on ELTIFs. Silke joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2004.
Danièle Buchler - Managing Associate, Tax
Danièle advises both domestic and multinational clients on the tax structuring of private equity transactions, of bond issues and syndicated loan agreements, of corporate restructurings and on the set-up and operation of collective investment vehicles. Whereas Danièle's main area of focus is corporate income tax, she also has considerable experience in VAT-related matters. Danièle joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2009.
Caroline Pimpaud - Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A
Caroline has proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity structurings and transactions including management incentive plans, group restructurings as well as setting up specialist alternative investment vehicles such as limited partnerships and SICARs. Caroline joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2010, having previously gained professional experience with Linklaters' Paris office
Fabian Piron - Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A
Fabian specialises in corporate law, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, demergers, reorganisations, joint ventures and corporate finance.
He spent almost six years in another leading law firm in Luxembourg, with secondments to London and New York. Fabian joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2014.
Claire specialises in the structuring and establishment of UCITS and alternative investment funds (including REIFs, infrastructure, debt and private equity funds). She further has experience in regulatory matters and provides day-to-day assistance to investment fund management companies and their service providers. Claire joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2009.
Bart Vermaat - Managing Associate, Capital Markets and Banking
Bart specialises in banking (syndicated loans, asset finance, leveraged acquisition finance) and capital markets work (MTN programmes, securitisation vehicles, high yield bond issuances). He has also been working on restructurings and finance matters involving litigation. Bart joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2009.
