Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the legal, compliance and AML function of the AIFM and act as RC of the AIFM and the fund(s)
  • Perform and oversee compliance controls on the activity of the AIFM according to Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Monitor and update policies and procedures of the AIFM
  • Identify and assess the compliance risk of the AIFM including AML/CFT risk as well as applicable laws and regulations
  • Prepare external regulatory reporting to the CSSF and AED, as well as compliance reports to the Board and Senior Management of the AIFM
  • Draft and review fund legal documents, agreements, corporate resolutions
  • Legal monitoring and impact assessment of new laws and regulations on the AIFM and the fund(s)
  • Supporting company-wide projects with legal and regulatory advice
  • Act as contact person towards the regulators

Your background:

  • Minimum 6 years’ of relevant experience in the fund industry (preferably in a management company/ AIFM), prior CSSF approval as Conducting Officer for Compliance and AML would be a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures
  • Degree in law, business law, or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of the laws and regulations relevant to the funds industry (especially AIFM and AML/CFT related)
  • Very good skills in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German or French would be a plus
