Legal Advisor

Fixed term contract until 11/06/2026 | Belval

You’ll join the legal team, and will report directly to Ms Caroline ROCH

You will be mainly in charge of:

• Drafting, negotiating or reviewing of a broad range of agreements, including consortium agreements, licensing agreements, provision of services, NDAs, etc…
• Advising on Data protection: support DPO in its advising role, drafting of data protection policies and processs, review data protection related documentation (contracts, information notices, etc.), contribute to the promotion of a data protection culture in LIST, participate to the training program on GDPR
• Advising on relevant areas of expertise: mainly, intellectual property, European state aid regulations, public procurement, etc.
• Participating in the development of internal legal documentation of the LIST and the legal watch in the fields of interest for LIST
• Identifying, analysing, and solving problems/challenges within own area of responsibility.

Education

• Master's degree in law (with particular focus on IP and/or Data Protection)

Experience and skills

• First professional experience, preferably in intellectual property, data protection and commercial matters, including contract negotiation
• Skilled in drafting general contracts
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, highly trustworthy, attention to detail and ethical
• Strong internal client orientation

Language skills

• Good level both written and spoken English. Knowledge of French and / or German would be a strong asset
