We are looking for a talented attorney with some privacy experience to support a strategic and rapidly growing transportation business in Europe. You will be a trusted advisor for the privacy and tech teams you support, liaising directly with senior business and tech leaders, advising on deployment of new programs and products, and handling regulatory inquiries and escalations. You will be responsible for developing and executing legal and advocacy strategies, in collaboration with other Legal stakeholders and Public Policy teams.

The role is based in Amazon's Luxembourg office campus. Some travel will be required.

Key job responsibilities


The attorney will:

  • Develop and implement privacy compliance guardrails for EU transportation businesses.
  • Conduct privacy risk assessment and recommend mitigating measures for existing and new initiatives.
  • Support the deployment of new tech products and programs on a pan-EU basis.
  • Simplify and automate existing processes and policies and build new processes.

Basic qualifications

  • License to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction
  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  • Experience in data privacy or tech product counseling

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with in-house work at a technology or internet company
