Aurélia joined CMS in 2019 as counsel with the aim of developing our regulatory practice. With more than 10 years’ experience, including nine within a tier-one firm, she specialises in regulatory matters involving banks, investment firms, payment institutions, virtual asset service providers and other entities in the financial sector. She notably focuses on markets in financial instruments, payment services, anti-money laundering, internal governance and digital assets topics. She is a member of several professional organisations, notably the Luxembourg Bankers‘ Association where she participates in various working groups, including the Payments Cluster and the Professional Obligations Committee. Aurélia also regularly publishes articles and other material in legal and business reviews and journals.

It also demonstrates our wish to reward internal talent that plays a key role in the development of our firm. My partners and I would like to congratulate Aurélia for this significant achievement and we look forward to keep working together with Aurélia at the further development of our firm and its practices."
