Clifford Chance elects two new partners to the firm's partnership in Luxembourg

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance today announces the promotion of two new partners to the firm's partnership in Luxembourg. These promotions take effect 1 May 2023 and are part of a global cohort of 32. 

The new partners highlight the significant strength and depth of expertise available to the firm's clients across global markets, products and sectors and across a range of areas of real growth potential and risk mitigation for the firm's leading clients, globally. 

Ada Schmitt, a member of the Luxembourg Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Ada handles both domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration cases, ranging from corporate, contractual, tort or commercial litigation to post-M&A, insolvency-related and enforcement disputes. Ada represents corporate, banking and financial investor clients, with special focus on investment funds and asset managers. She also leads on risk-related work, assisting clients on investigations (internal and external) and with regulatory enforcement instances. Ada joined the firm in 2013 and is qualified to practice in Luxembourg. 

Oliver Zwick, a member of the Luxembourg Investment Funds practice. Oliver specialises in financial regulation, with particular focus on funds and asset management. His practice focuses on advising clients on both AIFMD (including ELTIFs) and UCITS structures as well as on other issues associated with e.g. AML, MiFID, outsourcing, distribution/marketing, derivatives, markets abuse regulations and Fintech regulations. Oliver joined the firm in 2012 and is qualified in Luxembourg and Germany.
