Doctoral Researcher in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure

The doctoral researcher’s main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of Criminal law or Criminal Procedure (including national, European or international perspectives, in French or in English). The candidate is welcome to suggest any topic within these fields.

The doctoral researcher will mostly work at the University of Luxembourg with the possibility to sign a cotutelle agreement with another university. The person will contribute to the teaching activities.

The doctoral researcher will benefit from being part of large research group comprising several Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers working on related topics of criminal law and criminal procedure.

• A Master’s Degree in Law or equivalent
• A specialization in criminal law and/or criminal procedure is considered an asset
• Willingness to develop teaching abilities
• Being a team player

Language Requirements:

Fluency in either English or French is required along with a good understanding of the second language. A third language is considered as an asset.
