The Transactions team is the entry and exit points for pan-European investments and a crucial element in the processing chain. It provides mainly transactional support to the Blackstone Real Estate Funds by liaising with external counsels, third party service providers and Blackstone to close the transactions with speed, flexibility and certainty. Your role is to support the Transactions team in certain of its functions described below.

Responsibilities

  • Support Transactions team and Blackstone deal execution team with the onboarding/deboarding of investments across various pan-European jurisdictions with:
    • Setting-up acquisition/holding structures;
    • The acquisition and the sale of investments;
  • Co-ordinate signatures on transaction and any related documents;
  • Organise the transaction related board meetings – check availabilities, prepare board packs, provide Directors with the necessary information, draft and review minutes and organise relevant signatures;
  • Organise the transition of the corporate files from the Transactions team to the compliance team/buyer;
  • Ensure accuracy of the internal database (setup, update, review…) with the supporting team;
  • Arrange notarisation and apostille of documents;
  • Prepare data rooms for sales and coordinate the Q&A process;
  • Organise electronic filing and archiving on server with supporting team;
  • Be the point of contact for any transaction related topic.

Qualifications

 What You Bring To The Role

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a legal/corporate department of a fiduciary/law firm/in house legal or corporate position in Luxembourg is an asset;
  • Fluent English, any other language will be an advantage (especially Spanish, German or French);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Knowledge of MS Office standard applications;
  • Experience in Real Estate area will be a definite advantage;
  • Experience working with and maintaining strong professional links with lawyers, notaries, service providers;
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work independently;
  • Able to take direction and ask questions;
  • Can-do attitude;
  • Open to new technologies;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Eye for detail.
