Dentons launches 20 for 20 campaign to give back to the community in Luxembourg

To celebrate its legacy of over 20 years in the Luxembourg market, Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, launched today the “20 for 20” corporate social responsibility initiative.  As part of the campaign, the team commits to taking 20 actions during the course of 2020, to make a positive social impact on the community in Luxembourg and beyond.

Activities will include fundraising and volunteering for local community and charity groups. In the month of March, the office will start raising money for Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, a charitable foundation which helps families of children with cancer and other serious illnesses. The team will also be holding “Meatless Mondays”, where volunteers will go vegetarian one day a week to save animal lives, make a positive impact on the environment, and improve their health. Members of Dentons’ team in Luxembourg will have the opportunity to put forward other initiatives throughout the year.

We are honored to have advised many of the top companies in Luxembourg over the last two decades.  We would not be here today if not for the trust and support of our clients and the community.  What better way to say thank you, than to give back to the community through charity and volunteering,” Said Martine Gerber-Lemaire, Luxembourg Managing Partner at Dentons.  “This is also a great opportunity for our people to have fun together, while contributing to the greater good.”

Throughout the year, members of the office will share news of the 20 for 20 activities on social media, using the hashtag #Dentons20for20.

Legacy firm OPF Partners opened in Luxembourg in 1999.  The firm combined with Dentons in January 2016.
