Hervé Leclercq joins Luther Luxembourg as Partner

As of January 2017 Hervé Leclercq joined Luther Luxembourg as Partner in order to strengthen the investment management team.

Hervé Leclercq is particularly active in the domain of alternative funds with a focus on private equity, infrastructure and real estate. He advises on corporate, contractual, commercial and regulatory related topics such as UCITS, AIFMD and EUVECA. He has also developed an expertise in so called “Fintech” companies. His clients include asset managers, promoters as well as institutional and private investors whom he represents in matters relating to funds formation, ongoing operations, investments, divestments and liquidation.

Hervé Leclercq acquired extensive local and international expertise in important international economic centres including Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo.

Prior to joining Luther Luxembourg, Hervé Leclercq worked as Counsel for Stibbe in Luxembourg. He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2001 and is a member of the Luxembourg Investment Funds Association (ALFI) where he seats on several working groups. He is a ranked lawyer under the investment funds’ section in the 2016 Chambers Europe’s edition. He speaks French and English and has a reasonable command of Japanese.
