Arendt Regulatory & Consulting appoints four new partners

Arendt is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Rasseneur, Stéphane Badey, Nicolas Deldime and Michael Daemgen as partners of Arendt Regulatory & Consulting. “This is a great satisfaction for me”, says Odile Renner, partner and head of Arendt Regulatory & Consulting, “and a testimony that our vision to extend the service offering to our clients beyond the pure legal one was the right one.

Catherine Rasseneur (46 years old) has been working in the fund industry in Luxembourg for over 20 years, first within international banks then in two Big 4 firms, where she contributed to the development of their fund distribution service offering. At Arendt Regulatory & Consulting, Catherine is particularly in charge of the team dealing with the cross-border distribution of retail and professional funds, in Europe and beyond.
 

Stéphane Badey (45 years old) started his career in 1998 in a Big 4 consultancy, first in Luxembourg then in London. He then worked as Director Compliance Europe at RBC Dexia Investor Services Bank S.A. for several years where he was responsible for implementing, supervising and controlling all aspects of the bank’s compliance with financial regulation. Stéphane specialises in all compliance, governance and anti-money laundering aspects.
 

Nicolas Deldime (40 years old) started his career in 2000 in a Big 4 consultancy, before joining Arendt Regulatory & Consulting in 2012. Nicolas provides regulatory advice and consultancy services to firms active in the financial sector, affected by cross-sector regulations such as MiFID, in the areas of governance, organisation and distribution of financial products.
 

Dr. Michael Daemgen (44 years old) started his career in 2000 as an attorney in a German Law firm specialised in company and business law. Following this, he worked for more than a decade in the regulatory practice of a Big 4 consultancy, before joining Arendt Regulatory & Consulting in 2012. Michael advises, in particular, German-speaking clients of the Luxembourg financial sector, on the implementation of regulations and on the set-up of cross border activities.
