8 new promotions at Linklaters Luxembourg

Linklaters LLP, Luxembourg is delighted to announce that this year’s promotions see eight lawyers moving into more senior positions with effect from 1 May 2021.

Joakim-Antoine Charvet joined the firm in 2011, he specialises in tax consulting and international tax planning, focusing predominately on private equity. Joakim-Antoine deals with mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. He is particularly active in transfer pricing issues and in the structuring of complex financial products.



Audrey Bertolotti joined Linklaters in 2019. Retaining her position as Head of Employment practice, Audrey advises on all aspects of employment legislation covering a wide range of issues such as: relocations, restructurings, and individual and collective redundancies; incentive schemes; global and local employment contracts, dispute resolution and the implementation of handbooks and policies.

Bart Vermaat joined Linklaters Capital Markets and Banking practice in 2009. Bart advises banks, sponsors, corporates, alternative credit providers and insurance companies on all types of loan structures, debt issues and regulatory matters. He has particular expertise in asset finance (aviation and shipping), real estate, securitisation and fiduciary structures. Bart is an integral and senior member of the London-lead asset finance practice.


Corporate M&A

Maxime Bertomeu-Savalle joined Linklaters mainstream corporate practice in 2010 and was seconded to the private equity practice of Linklaters’ London office in 2014. He has proven experience in all aspects of corporate law, including group restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions and management incentivisation.

Florence Forster joined Linklaters mainstream corporate practice in 2011 and was seconded to the Linklaters’ Paris office in 2014. She advises in corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions, with a specific focus on the German market, working closely with the German Linklaters offices.

Tiago Ventura Mendes joined Linklaters Capital Markets and Banking practice in 2015. He advises banks, sponsors, corporates, issuers and alternative credit providers, on all types of loan structures, debt issues and regulatory matters, including EMIR related matters.

Victor Louvet joined Linklaters Investment Funds practice in September 2017. Victor has extensive experience in the structuring of UCITS funds as well as alternative investment funds (including RAIFs, real estate funds, infrastructure funds, and private equity funds), namely in the field of sustainable finance, and ongoing assistance to the fund managers and promoters.

Claire Virard-Canto joined Linklaters in 2011, Claire has extensive knowledge of the European and Luxembourg legal framework for investment funds either regulated or unregulated, as well as of a variety of topics such as sustainable finance and AML. In addition to developing and sharing internal knowledge, Claire is responsible for raising awareness of our clients regarding the most recent legal developments in the funds sector.
