ESMA proposes changes to reflect ESG enhancements and findings of good and bad practices
On 8 July 2022, ESMA published its consultation paper on its EU MiFID II product governance guidelines. This has been much anticipated as it reflects (among others) the incoming ESG enhancements to the product governance requirements in the EU MiFID II Delegated Directive, which manufacturers and distributors will need to incorporate into their product governance processes by 22 November 2022.
