CSSF launches its 2020 survey collecting standardised key information concerning money laundering and terrorist financing risks
02/02/2021

On 27 January 2021, the Luxembourg supervisory authority for the financial sector, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (the “CSSF”), published a circular letter addressed to certain entities of the financial sector, drawing attention to the launch of the CSSF’s annual survey relating to ML/TF risks (the “Online Survey”).

The Online Survey will be launched on 15 February 2021 and will need to be completed by 15 March 2021 via the CSSF’s eDesk portal. The Online Survey must be submitted by either the compliance officer or the person responsible for compliance. However, the completion thereof may be delegated to any employee which was empowered therefor.

If you require any assistance in relation to the completion of the Online Survey, or if you have any anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing related questions, do not hesitate to contact our experts.
