CM Law is looking to add a talented experienced Fund Lawyer to its team. In this position, your typical day will see you working on a wide range of investment fund related client files, amongst which you will find international and local corporations, AIFMs and Depositary Banks, private equity and venture capital houses, real estate promoters, financial institutions, entrepreneurs... Under the supervision of the Partner in charge of the department, your main focus areas will be to:
- Assist and advise clients on transactions related in particular to regulated or non-regulated investment vehicles
- Draft the legally required documentation and agreements (PPMs, LPAs, AoIs, Management Regulations etc.)
- Deal with legal UCITS / AIF / AIFM / ManCo issues
- Liaise and negotiate with the CSSF at all stages of a regulated vehicle
- Incorporate investment vehicles and SPVs (Liaison with Public Notary etc.)
- Deal with cross-border fund distribution issues (EU-Passport etc.)
- Investment management issues
- Assume the daily life cycle management of investment vehicles and other corporations (e.g. board meetings, corporate actions, launching of new sub-funds or share classes etc.)
- Follow-up on client requests and to take part in client meetings or conference calls
- Be part of a team and work in close cooperation with the other team members
