Compliance Trainee

As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into a variety of activities, providing support to the Legal and Compliance department in their day-to-day tasks and controls, and contributing to current compliance-related projects.

This opportunity is a full-time internship contract of up to six months. 

As a Compliance Trainee, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Provide support for day-to-day compliance tasks related to anti-money laundering (AML), counter terrorist financing (CTF) and sanctions
• Contribute to the controlling of the AML/CTF and sanctions-related activities and reporting
• Assist with compliance due diligence, controls and ad-hoc tasks
• Contribute to the update of internal records
• Participate in the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Support the Compliance team on a variety of projects

• You are enrolled or recently graduated with a master’s degree in Law, Business Management, Economics or similar
• You have a good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• You have the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new IT programmes
• You are able to handle confidential and sensitive issues
• You have some knowledge of or are interested in compliance, regulatory or legal matters

• A precise and accurate working style with an eye for detail
• A good working knowledge of English
• Additional knowledge of German, French and/or Luxembourgish is advantageous
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• You are a proactive and reliable team player

• A full-time internship contract for a period of six months, or a part-time contract for 12 months
