ESMA concludes review of EU Short Selling Regulation

The European Securities and Markets Authority has finalised its report on the Short Selling Regulation. The report summarises feedback to its 2021 consultation paper on the SSR and explains its final position on the topics raised. It is for the European Commission to decide whether to take forward any of ESMA’s suggestions for legislative change.
