As of July 1, 2022, Lionel Bonifazzi and Valeria Ercolini join KLEYR GRASSO and become the new tax team within the firm.
Lionel Bonifazzi has been a tax partner in a leading Luxembourg law firm since 2016 and focuses in particular on international corporate tax. He assists local and international asset managers and entrepreneurs respectively engaged in the investment fund industry and in cross-border restructurings or M&A transactions. Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2006, Lionel is recognised as a highly recommended lawyer in the 2022 editions of the legal directories Legal500 and Leaders League for his expertise in tax and corporate tax law. He is also an author of numerous publications on corporate and tax law.
Valeria Ercolini has important experience in advising international clients on the tax aspects of corporate reorganisations and refinancing, as well as on the structuring and implementation of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Clients appreciate her responsiveness and have great confidence in her judgment, as she always takes into account the business objectives of her clients. She is a regular speaker at conferences organized by the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA). Prior to joining KLEYR GRASSO, she was a director in the corporate and tax practice groups of another leading Luxembourg law firm, and before that, she worked with one of the Big Four audit firms in Luxembourg in the corporate services department.
