3 New Counsel at Elvinger Hoss Prussen

The partners of Elvinger Hoss Prussen are delighted to announce the promotion of Anna Hermelinski-Ayache and Anouck Schneider, as well as the arrival of Nicolas Fermaud. They have been made counsel as of 1st July 2017.

Anna Hermelinski-Ayache’s practice concentrates on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial and securities law and corporate restructuring. She advises a number of private equity firms and other financial institutions on corporate re-organisations, financings and re-financing.

Anna holds a maîtrise in international and European law from the Université Toulouse 1 Sciences Sociales (France) and a diploma in common law from University College Dublin (Ireland). She also holds a DESS (diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées) in geopolitics and international relations from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Toulouse (France) in partnership with Staffordshire University (United Kingdom).  She is a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2008.

Anouck Schneider’s practice concentrates on employment law and covers individual as well as collective employment relationships. She is also experienced in transnational employment law issues and advises in the area of employees' benefits and pension schemes and social security.

She is member of ELSA (Employment Law Specialists Association Luxembourg) and of EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association). Prior to joining Elvinger Hoss Prussen, Anouck worked as a litigation lawyer and for 10 years in the employment law department of another major law firm in Luxembourg.

Anouck holds a maîtrise en droit from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (France). She is a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1999.

Nicolas Fermaud practices commercial and financial law and he specialises in investment vehicles. He advises asset managers and their financiers throughout the investment cycle: fund raising, set-up of the investment platform, its operation (incl. investments and divestments) and its liquidation.

Prior to joining the firm, Nicolas worked for more than a decade in the Luxembourg, Moscow and New York offices of a Magic Circle law firm.
Nicolas is executive Committee member and secretary of the Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce in New York. He is member of the editorial board of The Investment Lawyer.

Nicolas holds a Licence en droit from the Université catholique de Louvain.

He is a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006, solicitor in England and Wales since 2010.
