Our client, an international investor involved in Private Equity & Infrastructure investment funds, is currently looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to support their Luxembourgish team. This person will provide compliance support and oversight to the local operations, but will additionally work with the central regulatory team in London. She/he will work directly with the Director of Compliance and three other members.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Officer that may include but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring the ongoing identification assessment of the vehicles as investor in target funds:
  • Performing transactions monitoring and compliance monitoring program;
  • Following the evolution of the regulation and implementing of compliance policies;
  • Maintaining internal policies and procedures in line with applicable laws and regulations and up-to-date;
  • Managing projects about compliance topics;
  • Supporting the Group and the regulatory team for compliance controls;
  • Creating and giving trainings to employees on regulatory matters when necessary;
  • Working directly with the Director of Compliance and the senior management team.

Education & Background:

  • Master Degree/BAC+5 in Law, Finance, Compliance or similar;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Compliance role within the alternative investment funds (AIFs);
  • Excellent understanding of the relevant rules and regulations for compliance theme areas, including AML/KYC laws and Luxembourg's main financial instructions;
  • Excellent command of English;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence at all levels;
  • Team player personality, well organised and autonomous.
