Greenfield is pleased to be representing a leading international company specialised in investment funds. They are currently willing to recruit a Compliance Officer to strengthen their team. Compliance officer will be responsible for maintaining the regulatory landscape, oversee the compliance monitoring and prepare a compliance business plan among other tasks. The successful candidate shall have a proven experience in the asset management domain, with a predominant focus on the regulatory watch and implementation of the compliance monitoring program. This is a great opportunity for someone willing to join a dynamic and growing company.

• Assist the Head of Compliance in initiating the Compliance Program

• Work independently to review and evaluate compliance issues/concerns within the organization. 

• Ensure the Board of Directors, management, and employees are compliant with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and that company policies and procedures are being followed

• Assist the Head of Compliance in ensuring appropriate engagement with the Regulator, Board of Directors, management and Group Chief Compliance Officer on relevant Compliance related issues.

• Act as a contributor to the company’s success by receiving and directing compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution

• Act as a final internal resource with which concerned parties may communicate after other formal channels and resources have been exhausted.
 

• University Degree, Bac+4/5 ideally in Law or Economics;

• Excellent handling of MS Office applications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position within an asset manager

• Good knowledge of applicable regulation to Management Companies / AIFMs resp. under the Laws of 17 December 2010 and of 12 July 2013;

• A sound knowledge of financial crime and good conduct rules;

• Analytical, problem solving and solutions-oriented skills;

• High degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters;

• Must have initiative to constantly improve processes;

• Fluent written and spoken English (additional European languages would be an advantage);
