Head of Legal

As the Head of Legal at INFINIT, you will lead our legal function, providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with regulations across our European operations. You will oversee all legal matters, working closely with senior leadership to support our business objectives. This role demands a seasoned legal professional with at least 5 years of experience, ideally from a law firm and with fintech industry experience.

• Legal Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive legal strategy that supports Infinit’s business objectives and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with all applicable regulations in the countries we operate in, including banking and financial services regulations
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, ensuring the company's interests are protected
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company’s operations and strategic initiatives
• Corporate Governance: Ensure robust corporate governance practices are in place and adhered to, including board governance and shareholder matters
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to provide legal support for business initiatives, product launches, and other strategic projects
• Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, working with external counsel as necessary
• Policy Development: Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices across the organization
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution. Admission to the bar in Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction is required
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with significant time spent at a top-tier law firm. Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable
• Track Record: Demonstrated success in providing strategic legal advice and managing complex legal matters in a dynamic business environment
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound legal judgments
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive Mindset: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high degree of initiative
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in building and leading legal teams
