Job description
Across the Benelux, our full-service banking & finance practice provides pragmatic and effective advice on some of the most challenging, high-profile cases. As a member of our banking & finance team in Luxembourg, you will work in a wide range of legal areas, including acquisition and real estate finance (acting for both lenders and borrowers), regulatory matters, structured finance and securitisation, and debt and equity capital markets. You will
work with many different people on diversified and high-level cases and transactions. You will handle these files and projects independently;
assist different clients on large, national, and international projects with fellow associates and partners from our various practice areas within the Benelux offices;
manage these transactions with the assistance of a more senior associate or partner, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate
You have a European law degree, ideally completed by a Master’s or a post-graduate degree from an Anglo-Saxon university (LL.M.).
You have already gained relevant experience (5-8 years) as a lawyer in the banking & finance area, preferably in a Luxembourg international law firm.
You are a member of a European bar and are proficient in English and French, both spoken and written. Fluency in German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
You are focused on client relationships and high-quality advice and have excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
